thank you!

I am hoping for one interview...what sucks is that I won't be ECFMG certified till I graduate next summer. So, I have feeling I am going to be filtered out, considering I still don't have my CS/CK results back yet

I'm in. 16 programs = $168.00; going for Peds.....

G'Luck to Everyone!!!

In ... and the wallet is feeling it.

Good luck to all. Hope you get what you want!

applied to every derm program, and then some

I'm in. 54 programs, $950. And now I'm walking funny courtesy of ERAS...

what are you people applying for??? that many programs??

I am so screwed! Looks like I'll be fighting for a spot on scramble day!

Anything competitive requires applying to a lot of programs. Plus if it's an advanced program you also have to apply for prelim/TY programs. Plus for something competitive it's smart to apply to a backup. So that's why some people are applying to a ton. Others are IMG/FMG and need to simply increase the odds. But yeah, if you are applying for peds, FM, psych, you probably won't need to break the bank the same way.

i am doing gas, but I only applied to 20. I had to compromise with my SO. He chose 20 cities that he could live in and not hate it hehe...

i DID get one email, thanks for applying, if we decide to interview you will be hearing from us via another email :)

leaves me to wonder, when do THOSE emails go out, typically?

I thought you were family med?

Anyway, I thought I would be the high person here but guess not.

134 programs $2300, I think...I still have sticker shock...I should prolly check

Spent $160 and applied to 10 prelim programs today.

Will probably spend over $2000 applying to derm programs this weekend after I muster up the courage. Still waiting for AOA elections! ARGH.

Submitted this morning - 30 programs +prelims for radiology...

...and I already have an interview! (don't worry, it's for my home program's prelim medicine... they interview all their own students automatically).

$335 that could have been spent on shoes or donations to the underserved.

good luck everybody!! (we'll make back the $ someday...)

Which field are you applying for? Or were you just kidding?

No I wasn't kidding, I was pretty shocked to see it in my inbox.

That one is in FM. I am mainly applying to ER with a few Full spectrum family programs.
