Thanks everyone. Its such a relief knowing I wont have to search for a job and reapply. Hopefully everyone else waiting on their first acceptance will get great news soon! :luck: I never saw this coming, especially from Maryland where things looked very bleak, so you never know whats going on behind the scenes that we aren't aware of. :hardy:

I haven't posted much, but I check this thread probly 2-3 times/day. REALLY hoping for a spot at UCSD. I have been accepted elsewhere but not to a place that suits me nearly as well as does UCSD (w/ residency, research, cost, future career goals..it's all perfect for me). I started the UCSD thread, but I figure I'd check here as well. If anyone has any advice or any inside scoop on this school, I'd love to hear it. Also feel free to send good luck vibes :p
 
i'm on one waitlist, this is my second time applying.. so i'm hoping for some good luck charm, if not, i guess it will be a third time..

everybody i know is on wait list at ucsd lol. Must be cause they either accept or put you on waitlist. Personally i would rather get a flatout rejection or be on a waitlist that has a chance to move
