Not sure yet. Will definitely send some sort of communique if I decide to head down the night before. Possibly a series of Facebook pokes in Morse code.

I haven't been to a revisit yet. Do people typically wear suits? I'd rather not have to pack mine.

I can't say from experience, since NW will be my first revisit as well, but seeing as how they didn't even expect suits for the interview, I can't imagine they'd want them during the revisit. I'm probably going to go the "business casual" route again...just because we will be meeting with potential research mentors.
 
Business casual? Can't we wear jeans and a t-shirt? I mean...we're already accepted...

Penn Preview says casual

I fully intend to follow directions. Besides, most PIs I know wear jeans...some wear slacks

I do too, but I find they are never specific enough. My version of casual, as many of you know, is VERY different from most people's. Thus I never know whether to go with Emily casual or regular casual. I don't feel comfortable in regular casual...

i agree with OncDoc that school's aren't usually specific enough...NW did actually give pretty good directions for attire in the interview

i wasn't really being sarcastic here though, since i do feel as though casual should be universally interpreted as "jeans are okay"

plus then you just look classier than everyone else :cool:.

Perhaps I am a product of my undergrad, whose students are guilty over-dressing for every possible occasion (esp class), but I enjoy it.

Don't get me wrong - I love to dress up! Where do you go for undergrad? I should transfer there for my last 6 weeks of school!

I go to georgetown....where lectures are filled with pearls, polo shirts, uggs, etc...but i'm not complaining, because honestly i dont really want to leave...the four years flew by.

Well I like the sound of pearls and polo shirts, but I'm NOT a fan of uggs. Women at my school wear them constantly. I just think they are terribly unattractive.

not sure who started the trend (me?) but i think it's nice once you've figured out where you're going...the one requirement is you specify you're either MS0 or MS-1 or MS-1/2 - that way we're not actually saying we're med students...

Is that aimed at me? See I meant to indicate I'm 1 or 2 years from starting MD/PhD. Seraph has suggested -(1or 2). Perhaps I will change it. And yes, you start ALL the trends aroud here. You are just so cool!
