Does Navy select trainees for nuclear medicine residency? The specialty is listed at Walter Reed but I don't know if they are accepting students or not. For the Navy side, I didn't even find a program director or specialty leader.

Walter Reed has two nuc med fellows. It's a two year program, so one per year. Currently, both are Army, and neither did Radiology residencies. Both were staff in primary care specialties before fellowship. There have been Navy fellows in the past. PM me for program director contact info.

Hi,
Interesting information.
Is it possible to work in military as a Nuclear medicine physician after 3yrs civil nuclear medicine residency (without radiology)?
Thank you!
