Now What?

Okay...

All my stuff is into ERAS. Now what?? Do I wait to be contacted, or should I start contacting programs?? I ask because I am applying to programs far away from my home, and I just happen to be in that state right now.... I would love to interview now and save myself the whole trip back.

Any suggestions?

You wait. Painfully. The only exception would be trying to get a courtesy interview at a program you are rotating at. You will come off as a bit over eager if you start emailing these places.
