Hello, I am having a hard time choosing between Nova Southeastern's MBS program and Midwestern's MA program. I have a 3.36 uGPA and 3.15 science GPA. No MCAT (taking in June). A little bit more about the schools:

Midwestern (DO):
articulation agreement to interview if graduate GPA is 3.0 or higher
MCAT +/- 504
45 credits, in a quarter system
in-state
tuition ~$44k

Nova (MD):
agreement to interview if graduate GPA is 3.5 or higher
MCAT > 503
30 credits, semester. system
out of state
tuition ~ $33k

I am also planning on applying this cycle to AACOMAS for sure, but not sure if I should do AMCAS as well. Any advice is appreciated!!

Generally, schools don't care where you complete your SMP as long as you do well.

Nova. It's cheaper and guaranteed interview to an MD program.

Save your money and don't apply MD. If you're deadset on MD, then get into an SMP and ace it.

You'll be fine for DO as long as you get +505 on the MCAT.

thank you for your input! If I want to pursue MD, would I apply this year and do the SMP this coming year? or wait until the next year to apply?
