That happened to me too for Icahn/Mount Sinai. I think ERAS is not sending that emails anymore. I saw by accident when I opened ERAS.
 
Do you think the big fellowships always send rejection letters? Or just don’t invite you?
 
Anyone get asked to submit a scholarly statement?
 
ERAS still sends them, there’s a disclaimer at the bottom of the emails that says it might not go through so we have to check the message center.

Yes, writing one for a certain program. I’d never heard of a scholarly statement before.
 
Would it be appropriate to assume that the interviews we have by now and the only ones we are going to get? Or have past years had a wave of invites even this late?

I emailed the PD with my interview request dates, and it took him a few days to respond and confirm.

- Did anyone hear back from St Christopher’s in Philadelphia? They sent an email in the first week saying they would send the dates in 2 to 3 weeks and I didn’t receive anything after that.
- There was a second wave for Montefiore last week.

any insight on how competitive this year is compared with others? do they expect it's going to be a lower applicant year, like last year?

How helpful is the “I’m planning on ranking your program highly” email to your #1 choice program when it comes to fellowship?
 
Has anyone gotten a prematch offer or a prematch phone call from a program?
 
Which programs are considered top? Do people go by the US world rankings?
 
When you get a rejection email from a program at 10:30 the night before the match...:mad: thanks but no thanks!

How was the match for everyone? NY was super competitive this year, but ok outside NY. I matched at my 5th option.
 
This year was definitely more competitive than previous years, at least at my home program in the Midwest.

Actually this year was the least competitive year for NICU by looking at NRMP data for the previous 5 years, only 3.3% of applicants did not match, whereas the unmatched applicants in previous years ranged from 5.5-19%. Also this year has the least number of applicants compared to the past 5 years.
