I just want to know that in CA with new requirement of serial # and barcode for control prescription pad, we can still get prescription for c3 to c5 over the phone after 01/01/2021 ? And if a prescription for control substance was called in on 2020 the refills still valid after 01/01/2021 Since based on statement on cures website it’s said refills remaining on non compliance pads are not valid after 01/01/2021.

You could but why should you? This has been a requirement since 1/1/2020 and these MFers had 1 year to buy forms but they are too cheap/lazy to get new forms and will have had 2 years to adopt EPCS before that requirement goes into effect in 2022.

So in actuality if they were smart they would have gotten that EPCS requirement squared away and also order some 2020 forms just in case (as I know dentists will abuse the excuse that "The prescription is issued by a prescribing health care practitioner under circumstances whereby the practitioner reasonably determines that it would be impractical for the patient to obtain substances prescribed by an electronic data transmission prescription in a timely manner, and the delay would adversely impact the patient’s medical condition." No your monthly Norcos and Percs don't count)
