I'm taking a beginning level hindi class, and I had a question about grammar

I know the basic sentence structure is
Subject - Object - Verb

but for adjectives and adverbs, do they generally always go in front of the object or after

Examples

I run fast = main tej dauDtaa hoon

I used to eat spicy samosas= main masaaledaar samosas khaataa thaa

I'd appreciate anyone's help

Man, I wish I could help, but I found this website:

http://www.rajbhasha.com/learnhindi/hinditut.htm

Make sure you use IE and not Firefox to view it, cause it worked funny when I used it in Firefox.

I'm sure the Hindi speakers, once they get up today  , will be of more help than myself.

Adjectives go before the object.... pretty girl= sundar ladki
or FAST car = TEZ gaDi

Adverbs :
he was walking slowly = woh dheere chal raha tha

I am not sure...I am grammer illiterate...i don't know how i learnt all these languages?

thanks, this class is very basic, not a lot is expected of us, just to make simple sentences, but our teacher never gave a definite rule for adj and adv.
