Most common sign of mandibular fracture?
malloclusion
paresthesia of the mental nerve
trismus
loose teeth

H1(Antihistamines) exert their antiallergic effects by?
block histamine at the receptor site
produce physiologic antagonism of histamine
prevent synthesis of histamine

Short mand molar clinical crown additional means for increasing retention when planning an onlay are important EXCEPT?
adding a groove on Facial and lingual wall
adding proximal groove with prox box

About the H1 Question I think it will produce a phisiologic antagonism of Histamine no!?!?!

[hello to all who help me thank you***** just I am going to bed very tired no repeats at all for all your surprised ..........more tomorrow

About the H1 Question I think it will produce a phisiologic antagonism of Histamine no!?!?!

antihistamines occupy the receptor site for histamine .Therefore they act as pharmacologic antagonist , not phisiologic antagonist.Hence I believe that the answer stating that what they do is a H1 receptor block would be the right one. Please correct me if I am wrong, thanks

Sign of mandi fracture is paresthesia of nerve. rest ans seens correct. Goodluck for the exam.

Sign of mandi fracture is paresthesia of nerve. rest ans seens correct. Goodluck for the exam.

I keep up with the former answer , I'm pretty confident that malooclusion is the right answer,
On the other hand I would have answered paresthesia of nerve if the question had been related to sign of some kind of bone malignancy ( breast or lungs metastasis , osteosarcoma , carcinoma , etc, any of this more frequent on the lower jaw )
At least thats my opinion

You fit a new complete denture and the patient complains of cheek biting. To correct this you grind: 1) buccal of maxillary teeth
2) buccal of mandibular teeth

i think it should be buccal of mandibular teeth....can anybody correct me please

sure that buccal of mandibular?? , based on common sense I would say buccal of maxillary , that s my answer , I don't see how buccal of mandibular could contact the cheek(unless a case of posterior crossbite, but this isn't the case ) , someone correct me if I am wrong

Yesss...it is buccal of mandibular...because buccal are supportive cusps and are the ones that really bite. If you gring buccal of Maxillary you're not affecting anything...

Marling Espinosa is right, you will need to grind the buccal of mandibular posterior because cheek biting is usually caused by insufficient horizontal overlap of the maxillary and mandibular posterior teeth. This grinding will move the buccal cusps slightly lingual thereby creating a greater horizontal overlap

I'm saying this b/c people have taken the exam already and we have not seen their shadow anymore. So.., don't be selfish one to another. When we give we receive and It is much better give than receive and it is a good thing when we worry about people benefit...
Be blessed..:luck::luck::luck::luck:
