moving expenses

This goes out to those of you who have already moved or bought a house. I'm trying to figure out how much liquid ca$h I need to purchase a house. I know a lot of you got away with 0 downpayment, but what are your final closing costs with insurance etc? how much did you set aside to move? were you able to furnish the new pad at all? And how hard is it to live on Ramen noodles for three months?
