I couldn't really find a suitable forum online to ask these questions.
I am wondering if there is a way to add two mean and SD together, to make it into 1 group?
Few of the studies I extracted data from has 'sub-groups' so when I enter the data in RevMan or CMA, I have to do it twice, which effectively makes it same as doubling the weight of one single study, as if those data were from 2 studies.
Unfortunately the studies don't provide raw mean and SD numbers.
