Hello, I was just wondering if the military is very strict on medical history. Do they check all your medical history and hospital records?
Are you allowed to omit any past history? Is it just basically only information that they recieve from the physical that you take prior to joining?

You're supposed to disclose everything. If it is discovered later that you purposely omitted something, it can be considered false enlistment, which is considered a crime by the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice)

The most-mentioned statistic at the medical screening (MEPS) was that there is up to a 2-year prison sentence for lying about asthma. I assume this probably goes for other conditions too, so be as honest as possible.
