a question to dermatologists:
BTW. I am a premed student starting med school in August.
After trying a new soap, I saw that a section of my face (upper left hand corner of face) became red and inflamed. The skin went from going red and swollen to black and not swollen. I think it may be contact dermatitis. Anyways, now the black skin has become scaly and tight.... to the point I think it may start peeling off... in fact I see a little piece of skin all dried up and all ready peeling off....
should i keep putting on eucerin moisturizer or should I stop it and keep the skin totally dry... what will accelerate skin peeling so this dead layer of skin gets peeled off?
