Hello All,
I'm a recent residency graduate (OBGYN), with MD, as well as additional degrees (Master of Library and Information Science MLIS, and currently completing an MBA). I am going to work as a hospitalist in a small Midwestern town, but eventually I would like to transition to the business sector. I am particularly interested in EMR/ IT, since I have the MLIS, but I am open to almost any business field where I can get my foot in the door. I like the idea of consulting first, while still practicing, and then eventually moving away from clinical practice completely.
Does anyone have any suggestions of how my degrees can be utilized in the business sector - as well as potential salary ranges?
