Just some info. for those looking to MD Anderson for residency or fellowship. They will not sign the form for your public service loan forgiveness program because they do not consider you an employee and instead just a trainee. They were apparently advised by their lawyers not to sign it because you are not employees and for the fear of getting sued(?). They said they would look into the situation some more. We'll see what happens.

Most programs at MD Anderson are through Baylor College of Medicine, which will sign the forms directly.

I work at a children's hospital, but am paid by the medical school affiliated with the hospital. We are not considered employees by the children's hospital, which makes things slightly awkward when doing things like flu shots and moonlighting. But whoever pays the paycheck should be the one to sign the form.
