Hey all,

I'm planning on applying to McGill medicine. I was just curious for those who have applied about their selection process. My main questions are:
1) How important are the reference letters, autobiography, MCAT, GPA, interiew compared to each other.
2) How did you approach writing the autobiography?
3) How were the interviews, what kinda questions were asked, the time, etc?

Thanks!!!

Most answers to your questions can be found here:

1) How important are the reference letters, autobiography, MCAT, GPA, interiew compared to each other.

Each section is important. The specific weighting formula is on their website.

2) How did you approach writing the autobiography?

Somewhat specific instructions are given as to how they want the essay structured. My approach was to write it like they told me to.

3) How were the interviews, what kinda questions were asked, the time, etc?

Interviews haven't started this round...but you can find examples of past experiences on the interview database on SDN.

Good luck.
