Yes it is $50 off of the macbook 12" and macbook air, $100 off of the pro. They are also giving out $200 pairs of beats headphones for free as an addition to the student discount.

Apple student discount should still work, I was required to buy an iPad for school and I hate Apple products, so I opted for the cheapest iPad which was the iPad mini. Retail was $200, they gave me a $30 discount off of the iPad and a $50 Apple gift card, bought the iPad for like $170 which is pretty damn good deal.
