Low GPA

Hello,

My GPA 3.25, sGPA 3.19, and all other GPA 3.33 Mcat I will take it this summer hoping for 30

Major: Biology Minors: Philosophy and Chemistry. I got my Associates in Arts degree in 2010.

2008-2009 I had worked at a ACME about 14 hrs as week

2009 I had volunteered in an ER about 50 hrs

2010-Shadowed a General Physician for few weeks

2011-2012 I had TA for medical terminology class grading papers for two semesters

2004- present I volunteer at a church every week since 8th grade as kids activity coordinator for about 7 hrs every week.

2011- present I have work as Computing site assistant for a year about 10 hours a week

2011-present Treasurer for a club we attend surgical lectures, and got to watch different surgeries being performed in the OR

What are my chances for DO school. I still have one more year and I will apply next summer?

28+ mcat will give you a decent shot...If you can bring both GPAs to 3.35+ before you apply, you will need a 26+ mcat.

You need more volunteer hours...Everything else is good.
