Are 3 LORs sufficient to apply to IM programs? (all IM- 1 dept chair, 2 IM attendings)

Thanks for your input! I am just asking because I was recently told by a reputable source that some programs require 4 letters, and I only have 3 at this time and would rather not ask for another if I don't have to.

The AAIM recommendation for this year is to require 2 LORs. Whether programs will follow this, I have no idea.
