Locums malpractices

Hi

Should I purchase my own occurrence policy when doing locums or use the claims made policy provided by the agency? How about tail coverage? Do I buy the tail whenever I finish an assignment? That seems odd thogh.
I have never done locum before and I want to try it.

I don't think you need tail if you have claims made from locum company

I’ve always done locums work through a locums company and they have always provided malpractice coverage. I’m not sure how it works if you’re doing it on your own. It’s always been claims made and they pay the tail when I leave.
