Location, location, location?

OK, I have been told that the ODs that make the most money are those who practice in relatively large cities. But I?ve also read on SDN that if you open a practice in a big city, the competition will eat you alive. I know that a good doctor will be successful anywhere, but is there an ideal city to open/buy a practice?
