This May sound like a dumb question, but for the AADSAS application to dental school, do you have to wait until May 15 to have your letters of recommendation submitted? That is the only date I can find online for when the new cycle “soft-opens”, but it seemed kind of late to me. Just wanted to make sure of whether I was correct or not.

1. Its not late.
2. Search Interfolio. They may be stored there until you're ready.
3. If it's a soft open, the app cant be submitted anyway.

You are correct in that you need to wait until May 15 til you can start collecting and submitting your letters of recommendation. However, I highly recommend speaking to your letter writers sometime in the next 2 months so that they can begin writing it. Once the application opens up in May, they'll be able to upload their letter to AADSAS.

If you'd feel better if they wrote them now and you collected them once they finished, you can use Interfolio (Dossier - Interfolio) to securely collect them now and then send to AADSAS once the app opens in May.
