Is anyone taking the MCAT in January 2012? I know it's pretty early but I just wanted to know whose down with me :).

Hopefully, I will have time to come back to the States during my vacation break to take this exam. I will probably start some light studying in August :D

Yea and what hurts me is that people are saying todays wasnt too bad. Makes me real sad and mad that i didnt take todays exam instead of yesterday :(

Just finished today's exam. I thought PS was easier than the majority of the AAMCs with the exception of a couple questions. BS felt a lot like AAMC 11 and wasn't overly difficult. Verbal, to me at least, was terrible. Probably a combination of factors for that though.

We can't do anything about it now, just pray that the curve is great and we benefit from it. They say taking a hard test with a generous curve is better than a moderate one with a tough curve.

I literally cried when I came home yesterday so we're all in the same boat.

Seriously, there is no reason to be sad.

If you did well on the AAMCs you should be fine. You will get a better curve.... I actually feel worse now since I felt so confident going out of the test.... But now everyone else was saying it was easy.

This. The AAMC doesn't just give out harder and easier tests and not account for it in the scaling, because it would be unfair and people would whine about (as they are doing on here). If you got a harder test, your scaled score will be pushed up. In this way everybody is on more or less an even playing field--else how would medical schools know how to interpret MCAT scores? "No really, adcom, my particular MCAT was a ballbuster! I swear!"

...getting tired of these posts.

24 hours.....I just want to be done with it.....I just want to find out that I made a 7 or 8 on verbal and be done with it so that I can start studying for my retake......FML, this verbal section was much harder than the first time I took the test science sections were easier but god damn was verbal hard, made a 10 on verbal my first time, never made lower than a 9 on any of my practice exams but I got a horrible omen about this one........this was my 2nd take on the mcat, guess I will have to take it a third time, FML......
