Does anybody have a table or anymaterial for IV stability focussing on CPJE. Taking my exam soon

Here's a mini list that I have from a member name shal pass on to many other people here.

D5W only:

Amiodarone (Cordarone) Glass bottle
Amphotericin B (Fungizone) Protect from light
Azithromycin (Zithromax)
Nitroprusside Protect from Light
Pentamidine (Pentam 300) Avoid rapid infusion
Procainamide (Pronestyl)
SMX/TMP (Septra) Do Not Refrigerate

NS only:

Cubicin
Erythromycin (erythrocin) If using D5W must Neutralize the pH first
Metoclopramide (Reglan) IV push for 20mg or less
Methohexital (Brevital)
Metronidazole (Flagyl) Do Not Refrigerate
Phenytoin

Special cases: (D5W/NS)

Acyclovir (Zovirax) Do Not Refrigerate
Clindamycin (Cleocin) Do Not Refrigerate
Imipenem-Cilastin (Primaxin) Att: Slurryl Sln
Nitroglycerin (NTG) Glass Bottle Only
Doxycycline (Doxy 100/200) Protect from Light

All other drugs are D5W/NS compatible but don't take my words for it "Double check" with globalrph.com for more info. This is a mini list of common drugs but I was told it's sufficient for CPJE. I have to retake my cpje so let us know how it goes. Good luck w/ your exam.

I believe you're refering to the premixed clindamycin (cleocin) but the powder clindamycin you don't. Would somebody clarify this for us?
 
per lexi comp drug info... do not refrigerate reconstituted oral solution(will thicken)following reconstitution.oral solution stable for 2 weeks at room temperature...:D
