The general basic requirements with some variance is:
1yr english
1yr bio with lab
1yr gchem with lab
1yr ochem with lab
1 yr physics with lab

Some schools also require biochem, microbio, anatomy, calculus.

You will have to look at specific pre-reqs by visiting the school website or looking at the ADEA manual. For the most part communication class is not mandatory, I don't think any school requires it, actually.

here's a quote from Buffalo's admission page regarding "communication":

"While dentistry is a discipline based in the biological sciences, the practice of dentistry is very much a "people" profession based on communication skills and an understanding of human behavior. Prospective dental students are encouraged to take courses in psychology, sociology, public speaking, composition, and the humanities to better interact with patients."

So it is encouraged, not required.
