Hey guys,

Lets get this thread started.
Where is everyone at in the interview process.

Applied to two places. Haven't heard anything yet. They had issues with their website that they fixed. That's all I got. Anyone heard anything yet?

Hi everyone, applying this year as well. Anyone hear from any places this week?

From previous threads it seems like some programs don’t review until September with interviews going into October.

Also does anyone have any idea which programs are “top ten”?
In terms of types of cases, volume, etc

Interested in a group. I’ve heard of these programs sending invites or rejections: Utah, Minnesota, Wash U, MSK, UAB, Lahey, UMD, UCSF, UAMS.... would love to hear if anyone’s heard from OSU or CCF

Hello everyone. I'm new to the group but have been reading other people's post. I applied broadly and have thus far received rejections from Penn State and VCU, to add to the post above regarding hearing back from programs. Good luck.

Ok so it looks like people have heard back from:
1. PSU
2. VCU
3. Utah
4. Minnesota
5. Wash U
6. MSK
7. UAB
8. Lahey
9. UMD
10. UCSF
11. UAMS

Anyone have any insights on how good each program is?

This is what I've gathered. Some programs will make you do up to 1 week of non - IP (ICU, consults, etc) in order justify
your salary. That means then you're only doing purely IP for 9 months.

The other issue is volume of cases. Rigids, pleuroscopy, etc

Who makes the top ten list?

As of August 25th
1. OSU
2. MN
3. Utah
4. VCU
5. PSU
6. Vandy
7. UAB
8. UAMS
9. MSK
10. Wash U
11. UNC
12. CCF
13. UCSF
14. Lahey
15. UMD
16. Mayo
17. Duke
18. MD Anderson
19. Lahey

I am wondering if it should be assumed that no emails from most of the programs listed above means rejection? Also, does anyone know how many interviews is considered a good number?
