I am a U.S. IMG... so in terms of lower tier programs like NYCM, Downstate, St. Lukes- Roosevelt, Lenox Hill, Beth Israel, LIJ etc, how would you rank them? why?

thanks!!!

I think they are very different types of places,So you need to know the environment you work best in as they will all give you good training .Downstate is an inner city public institution. You will work hard but fellowship opportunities are very good. Its esp strong in Renal,ID. LenoxHill,Roosevelt,Beth Israel are very comparable in reputation and quality of teaching. They take some IMGs into their program but it will be competitive. NYMC in Valhalla is mostly IMGs but is up and coming with some strong attendings.
