I'm interested in pursuing interventional cards or neonatology but will not having a USMLE step 1 score ruin these chances? I do plan on taking Step 2 & 3.

Fellowships
Interventional cards (cath) is generally a fourth year of pedi cards fellowship selected during cards fellowship so the real question is matching in cards or neo. Of these, neo is probably easier to match in. Rest of my comments are otherwise no different.
