How many Rad Onc interviews should it take to feel comfortable about the match?

last year everyone with 8 or more contiguous ranks matched...

It really is variable. Some people say, you only need one
Seriously though, there are people I know of who haven't matched with 12 interviews, and those who did match with 5.
