Hello, I am now doing my medical degree in NZ. However, I am neithe originally from the UK/NZ or AUS.

I would like to know what are the process of getting into the UK to work and how long it will take.

For now I only know that I will need to take the PLAB (not sure how long this will take to finish either).

How much easier would it be if I just graduated from the UK? (do they discriminate between international students who graduated from the UK and their own students from the UK in terms of residency/work chances much?)

Thank you very very much!

Why not just stay in the NZ? I'm sure you'll have plenty of connections there by the time you're done medical school. At this time it is very difficult for people without EU citizenship (assuming you're not from the EU) to get foundation spots except those studying in the UK.

TBH I think US or even Australia might be a better shot assuming you did the necessary board exams.
