Hi
I’ve been a hospitalist for 5 years, I worked in a few places and I feel I won’t be able to do it on the long run as a full time Job, I am applying to ID fellowship next year, I wanted to know how is it as a lifestyle? and how does it compare As job market and income compared to internal medicine ?

Why not endo/rheum if you’re chasing lifestyle?

ID and Nephro has to be one of the most consulted specialties when I’m on service

I am considering that too, I think it is more competitive to get in, I have applied to endo too and just 2 interviews so far and not sure if i will get it

I would focus on endo

ID will be there for you whenever you want it
