I'm a student at a Midwestern state university.
Major: Psych
cGPA: 3.79
MCAT: 25Q (VR: 8 PS:8 BS:9)
I've worked as a CNA for the past 5 years and have done 40 hours of shadowing various doctors. I volunteer regularly, am involved in several campus activities, and will be able to get several good LORs. This year I'm heading up a research project and have a good chance of being published in a psychology journal. I just want to get in to one of the nearby state schools.
I know my mcat score is extremely low and am going to try to take it again in September. I need some advice, does anyone think I can get into an MD? a DO? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
