Been talking to some physicians and wanted to verify. I was told tail coverage costs 20,000 per year with recommended coverage for 10 years. I'm currently undergoing negotiations for a contract and they informed me tail coverage is a one time fee. I've been googling and have come up short in terms of this question. Please help. Tail coverage is usually a one time payment. It's offered by the same insurer that manages your medmal. The cost will totally depend upon how long you've praticed, location, specialty, and history.
