General surgery with a 243 on Step 1 and some decent research

Hey guys, I'll be applying to general surgery next cycle and I would love your input. I'm at a mid-tier US MD and want to gauge my competitiveness/programs I should be looking at. Preclinical grades were top quartile, step 1 = 243, and three abstracts/posters and one publication so far.

Ideally I think I want to stay here in the midwest (or dare I say the east coast). What do you guys think?
