Hi everyone. I was just wondering what everyone think of where the profession of pharmacy is headed. This is an open - end type of question but any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is this an interview question or what? :)

I actually was asked this at a residency interview.

Them: "Where is the future of pharmacy headed?"
Me: "Hopefully not north to Canada."

Yes. It was one of my interview question and i got stuck on answering it. Is there a website where i can find information regarding this question? Or any input will be great. Thanks.

yes, there is a website kiki. u are one it! :) there was a post like this a few weeks back and there were some damn good answers. check them out and be sure to check out the interview feedbacks for different schools.

Future is more patient contact in the form of counseling. That's where it's needed, anyway. The manual labor part of the job will be covered by the emergent of more robotics.
