I serve as the Career Promotion Coordinator for AACPM (the American Association of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine). As such, I am in charge of all student recruitment and career promotion activities. I would like to share a very exciting piece of publicity for podiatric medicine with you all.
At ACC Media Days, Florida State QB Jameis Winston stated that he was very interested in pursuing a career in podiatry once his playing days were over. Because of my position, this piqued my interest and I emailed FSU to see if they'd let me talk to this very impressive young man. Yesterday, I was able to conduct an interview with him about podiatry and would like to share this with all of you.
