I actually applied last year to Mayo, AZ, and they sent an email back stating they would not interview psychiatrist. I think this is some sort of violation, but that is the email I got....
I have also recently "heard" - and I can't really verify this - that both the Mayo Fl & AZ programs really only consider internal anesthesia applicants. While everyone is welcome to apply, you may spend the time more wisely as their application takes some extra effort. Its up to you if you think its worth it.
Anybody get invites from West Coast programs like UCLA or East Coast programs like BIDMC?
I only heard from U of Michigan. I was told it was good, but then told whatever. Hard to grasp which ones are good besides Brigham and Cleveland Clinic.
Harvard/Spaulding is dropping their pain fellowship? Permanently?
wow its the end of july and already letters of intent being signed.. ****tin in my pants now havent even started interviewing yet...

7. NOTE this isnt the same as the separat BWH or BID fellowship, which are better. This "combined' one is primarily a children's fellowship. In children's pain theres not a whole heck of a lot to do except PCAs,etc. Longwood Combined (Boston Childrens, BID, B&W)
