I know there are a few threads on this already but it wasn't entirely clear and rather than resurrect an old thread I chose to create a new one with my specific question.

From what I can gather, the difference can be made out between essential tremor and intention largely by history given. The point of contention is the presence of tremor at rest. MTB states that Essential tremor will present at rest as well as on movement whereas intention tremor is seen only on movement. Uworld states that Essential tremor is suppressed at rest and intention tremor is seen both at rest and on movement.

Can anyone clarify?
