Amateur race car driver. Man, if only I had the money. Tires ain't cheap!

part time hair stylist/part time personal trainer, or professional skier

lol

working at home if possible...

Had anyone ever knew of anyone working AT home for a living and at what yearly income?

If I can work at home and can have enough money to travel the world, that would be my dream. :D

In rough order:

1) Philosopher of the school of existentialism

2) Pornstar that specializes in being in scenes with 3 women at once

3) A dude that owns a bunch of **** and sits on his ass all day doing nothing but living off of dividends/interest.

5) Dude that goes around rating hotels for AAA/Mobil/Whoever

6) If I was like 6 inches taller, NBA 2-guard

7) Actor (Multiple people in pharmacy school told me I should "be on stage" after I did this crazy presentation completely in character as the test subject of a pharmacy...a redneck asthma patient from McDowell County, WV who moonlights as a Madonna tribute singer...whose livelihood was destroyed by asthma. It was 90% improvised. The lab professor told me it was the most remarkable thing he'd ever seen in his career...that always been in the back of my mind...I shoulda been an actor...)

Lol, that would be an awesome job! I personally would like to be a writer, but I'm so critical of myself that I don't think I could ever do it.

Actually, you should give it a try. I see a lot of jobs offered for freelance writers, especially those with a medical background. I'm a firm believer in pursuing your dreams...if for nothing else, just to cross it off your bucket list, lol.

A singer.

I promise you, I'd give Beyonce a run for her money. LOL

My dream, too, John. Have you read the 4 Hour Work Week or looked into a "location independent lifestyle"? I swear, one of these days...

Keep an eye on work at home jobs. I sometimes see them for all kinds of things from pharmacists to researchers on this site and a few others like it.

Amateur? Screw that, professional.

I would love to run the Star Mazda series or hop over the Atlanta and run Formula 2 or something in the hopes I could get into F1.

Hahaha, nah, I dunno about F1. I'd love to race in the FIA GT3 series. Hell, I'd be happy just road racing Spec Miatas.

Marine biologist

A good friend of mine just defended his thesis for his PhD in Marine Biology at LSU. I know he is working on some grant proposals related with the oil spill off the coast.

1) To own a private pharmaceutical company and sell it for a few billion bucks cash
2) a philanthropist
3) A professional baller
4) An international soccer star
5) professional student

Theoretical physicist or... wildlife biologist. One of those things.

I would like to own an institution that teaches courses in self confidence, positive thinking and public speaking.

I noticed someone in this thread wants to be a marine biologist. I am working with fishes for over ten years!!!

Actually i wanted to design computer programs so i could make things like the matrix a reality.

But I also wanted to own my own lab like Dexter. My most far fetched fantasy was that i wanted to be an actor, Then scrubs came out and i thought i wanted to be JD but doctors don't use as much chemistry as Pharmacists and I realized that I loved chemistry after taking AP chem so I kind of gave you my process of picking jobs as i grew up lol but I still think being an actor would be cool.

1) Robotics.
2) Software engineer.
3) Either Hugh Hefner's or Donald Trump's protege and heir-apparent.

Haha, for a second there I thought you meant Dexter from the Showtime series...you know, the serial killer.

Haha....no why would I do that

Lol but seriously now that i think about it that would be cool, you know if you're into that killing-spree, Blood-obsession type of thing lol.

1) Travel journalist - get paid going around the world, meeting new people and new cultures! (man, if only the school interview expenses were paid for by someone else :p ) plus I love writing too, just the perfect combination!

2) "Paid" volunteer or Paid "volunteer" depending on which way you see it - basically have someone pay for the volunteer activities/programs/excursions that I embark on

But of course, I love pharmacy and health education - so perhaps in the future, I may be able to hitch on to an international organization which can then satisfy both my desires of traveling and helping people :xf:

Either a cake decorator or a bookstore owner/book publisher.

Travel around the world and eat exotic foods, like Anthony Bourdain or Andrew Zimmern.

i want pam oliver's/ erin andrews' job so i can travel around and go to games for free and interview all the professional athletes :)

Ballerina! I actually was in a pre-professional ballet program before injury stopped that dream when I was 18.

I'm an IRS auditor now, it has its fun points, you get to be as nosy as you want about people's finances, businesses, and marital status. I'm shocked at how many people fudge their taxes, now that I work here. Only 2 1/2 more years until I'm done with pre-reqs and (hopefully) off to pharmacy school, so I'll take the fed job while I have it.

Professional Sleeper...after winning the Mega millions...:xf:

I wanted to be a power ranger!!!!!

That later changed to pokemon master. I also wanted to play with kittens and puppies all day.

But doing whatever Samantha Brown does sounds awesome. I could be a professional vacationer.

So what you're saying is you don't actually read the threads except the ones you like. I seee. ;)

I read the threads but obviously I had not read this one until now. Plus I am on my phone which makes it more difficult. Boo.

EDIT: I just saw your wink. I thought you were serious LOL on my BB I have to click the smiley to see what kind it is. PITA.

On my superior Verizon network, I never get dropped calls and I always have service wherever I go :)
Yeah, that might be useful if you're in Cheyenne, WY or something, but if you're in any area with more than a few herd of goats, you'll have AT&T coverage too.

Any metro area I've ever been to has been full bars of service for me, and I've yet to get any of these famed dropped calls, even in San Francisco at 3 PM... so I really don't get it.

:p

  you never fail to crack me up

I would own a catering business/restaurant, teach high school chemistry, or open up a drive-in movie theater with an old 50s style diner and soda fountain.

Or a combination of the above.
