Why is DPM (despite it's higher earnings and potential vs these other 2 careers) seem to still have easier admission competitiveness? If you can make more as a DPM, why does anyone choose PT or OT? Now that PTs need a DPT it lengthens their schooling, so you'd think many would go into a physician doctorate rather than a pseudo-doctorate in 3.5 years.

Just an observation I see. I went over the Bureau of Labor stats for every profession, and the amount they make in various states, etc. and the DPM has an over $200K potential. No PT or OT will ever make that unless they run 20 rehab centers. Yet why it it harder to get into most DPT or MOT schools than most DPM schools?

Any thoughts?
