Regarding the laboratory components of the requirements, when it says that we need a year of courses with laboratory does it mean that we have to have 3 quarters of lab as well? Because for example our biology course 20 A/B/C, we only have one lab that’s accompanies the biology series. For inorganic chemistry, the first course of the series doesn’t have a lab associated with it neither, so we only have two labs. Will it count as satisfying the requirement?
Usually you should take any concurrent labs associated with your prerequisites.

Usually this will be reflected in the amount of units the lab is worth. For example, labs for other classes may be only 1 unit per quarter, but for your bio course 20A/B/C's lab, it might be 3 units == therefore equivalent to a year of lab. As long as your units add up, it should satisfy the requirements. If you're not sure, it doesn't hurt to reach out directly to the schools you're interested in and ask them about this.
