Does it take longer to process application as a re-applicant?

What do you guys think? Does it take longer to process our applications the second time around when they're considering us for interviews? Maybe because they're comparing our applications? I don't know, that's what I'm telling myself to explain why I haven't heard from most schools yet.

I would think they would look over your previous application and see if you improved yourself. If you did, I would think you would get a better shot. If not, then you dont.
