Any recommendations for a great disability insurance broker? I know the big companies, mass, guardian, principal - but i want to work with a great broker. Any leads would be great!

I got my disability insurance through a childhood friend who was a Mass Mutual agent. My current guy is someone in the Twin Cities who is a retired MD, and he is very cognizant of what we medical professionals are facing.
What you want to be sure is that you the disability prevents you from practicing your clinical profession. So, if you are a general dentist, and you lose a hand or an eye, the company may say, "Well, you could get a job as a dental radiologist, so we are not going to pay."

Just call a few and chat with them and I think you will find out pretty quick if they know what they are talking about or you can look at WCI recommended list of reps.
