Hello everyone,
I am a pre-medical student at McGill writing a history research paper and it involves looking at the patient-doctor relationship in 1960s Canada.
With the shift towards universal healthcare and with all the incredible medical discoveries that were happening, I was wondering how public attitudes/perceptions of medicine were changing, and how the patient-doctor relationship was changing.
If anyone could give me some insights into how the patient doctor relationship was like in the 1960s, I would be infinitely grateful. Thank you!
