Hi Everyone,

Was just wondering what my chances of applying in the upcoming D.O. cycle were and shot of acceptance.

3.61 cGPA and 3.4-3.5 sGPA
501 MCAT (actually improved, I know it is low)

400 shadowing hours at a competitive internship: rotated weekly with 10 different medical specialties
1 year of neurophysiology research experience. No publications or anything of that nature
40 volunteering hours with youth fairs
700 volunteering hours at primary care office: Escorted patients and job-shadowed rural family physician
Have worked since the age of 17 so schools should be able to see that I have a diligent work-ethic

I would try and get your non clinical volunteering above 100hrs before you apply, and IMO if you apply broadly and to the new schools you will get in somewhere if you can interview decently. Make sure you have a DO letter.

You are competitive for the majority of DO schools and consider all of these where you could receive an interview with your stats:
ACOM
ARCOM
BCOM
WCU-COM
LMU-DCOM
UP-KYCOM
WVSOM
VCOM (all 3 schools)
UIWSOM
NYIT-Arkansas
RVU-Utah
