Hello! I am still waiting to hear back from UOP as well. I'm thinking I haven't heard anything yet because my academic update barely just got processed.

I just did that as well. Hopefully, we hear back soon then!

SDSU has started to release their letters. Unfortunately, I didn't get accepted. Congratulations on everyone who did though! Be sure to let us know.

I just got waitlisted at SDSU. I only applied there and St Augustine in San Marcos. Ugh! Looks like I may be going in deep debt or not getting in anywhere at all!

Are you interviewing at San Marcos on Friday? And hey, a waitlisting is still a shot haha. Beats a flat out rejection

I also got waitlisted at SDSU. Do you know by then they would tell us if we are accepted? Or if there's a way to tell what number we are on the waitlist?

Good luck!

Congratulations!!!!!! I also got into LLU and interviewed at APU on the 3rd, I haven't heard back from them yet though. How did they notify you? Which would you accept? I'm torn as to which one I would accept (given the opportunity to choose).. Would like some insight on your opinions, sorry for a million questions! Thank you!

EDIT: just found out I got accepted to APU as well!!!

Good luck to you too! I don't know anything. Past threads on here suggest they won't tell you your rank or total # on waitlist. Someone got accepted in late March. I think if it extends past April there is less and less hope. If they also asked for decisions from accepted people by Feb 21, then people may start being pulled then. I'm tempted to call... if you do, please share :)

Has anyone heard anything from sac state? Had my interview last Saturday..

Nope nothing yet. I was told it would be about two weeks, so hopefully by next weekend we'll know.
Yeah, same. 2 other interviews' timeline also suggest final decisions would be made by next weekend too. Trying not to think about it.. It's going to be a slow week.

Just got an email notification that I am on the waitlist. Anyone know how their waitlist works? It didn't say anything about what number I am or if they disclose that information.

I'm waitlisted too.. You can email Jerri back to ask for your position. Sac State is my 1st choice, so I'm pretty bummed.

Congratz on getting accepted into UNLV. By any chance, do you know what number you were on the waitlist?

No, sorry. They just told me I was somewhere between 1-10 on the list. There is another person on this forum who was in the 10-20 range so I'm not exactly sure how big the list is.

Thanks for the response. How long did they give you to put down the deposit?

I'm super stoked about USC (minus the cost...) but my top choice is CSULB so being waitlisted kinda sucks. I'm hoping to hear back from them soon and if not them, then Chapman because those are more in my economic playing field. For now, I'm submitting the $1,000 deposit (/cries) and waiting for more emails. Waiting sucks, I think we can all agree. :)

I recall submitting my app around November because I was submitting at the same time as all the other apps were due. I think it was November 15th or something like that. I got the notification of my acceptance on January 26th!

Congrats to everyone who has received good news regarding admission offers! Good luck to everyone applying this year and those still waiting to hear back.

I accepted USC's admission offer and withdrew my name from Franklin Pierce University in both Arizona and New Hampshire. Don't know if anyone applied to either of the Franklin Pierce campuses, but hopefully by withdrawing my name, that helped someone on the wait list or someone that has yet to hear back from them.

I just heard today that I was accepted to CSULB off of the waitlist, and now I'm torn! I was planning to attend Fresno State, and I don't know much about CSULB's program (I didn't go to the open house). Fresno is closer to home and cheaper (especially in regards to living expenses), but I'm wondering if CSULB is looked upon more favorably with employers. Does anyone have any insights?

It seems it doesn't really matter what school you go to, as long as its accredited. A lot of the PT's Ive talked to received job offers while during their clinicals. Many students schedule their longest clinical with facility they want to work at.

Just got a call from Chapman offering me a seat for the summer cohort and declined, hopefully that opens up a spot for someone else waiting to hear back!

I've heard from PTs that a DPT from one school is basically the same as a DPT from another, so stick to the cheaper situation.
