Can somebody answer this question for me?

Do prescriptions for Sch 2-5 substances for an inpatient have to be on CA security forms? Weissman only mentions its not needed in a skilled nursing facility or licensed hospice care.

I can't imagine that it has to be since in the hospital, physician orders are either transmitted via cpoe or through a piece of paper faxed down to pharmacy.. My gut feeling is no but please ask others as well.
