Bringing cough drops into level 1?

Hey guys, kind of a random question, but does anyone know if you're allowed to bring in cough drops into the testing area for level 1? I noticed that for Step 1 you're allowed to bring them in if they are unwrapped, but I can't find any info regarding what's allowed for level 1.
