I am seeking book recommendations as I will be starting my ophthalmology residency in about two months. I'm just completing my prelim year and have educational money available to me through my institution. I already own Kanski's text and have Will's on my palm pilot. Since I have "free money" to use I'm wondering what else I should buy that will be useful to me as a resident in ophthalmology, please note it must be a book; unfortunately I cannot buy equipment. I thought others would find it useful as well as all a new year of residents will be starting in just a few short months.
Dr. Doan- Since you've been a resident for a while, you probably have some good recommendations. Kanski is excellent and I have been using it. I'm not sure if I should purchase Yanoff or not, I do have a text version on my palm as well from 1997. I would appreciate everyone's help and hope this is useful for everyone.
Thanks.
